The Fleurieu Computer Users Group (FCUG) is an on-line group. We assist our members with the Internet and its use. We provide one-on-one assistance for computer related issues. Members help other members in a self-learning environment. Key members with sufficient skills fill the gaps by making their knowledge available to other group members.
FCUG publishes regular electronic newsletters to keep members up-to-date with the latest issues, fixes and alerts. We assist with software installation and removal plus help to remove spyware and viruses.
This user group is run by Optical Design to assist community members move into the computer age that have been reluctant or unable to do so previously. We can help with your hardware requirements and basic training in computer and Internet use.
Anyone is welcome to join FCUG but keep in mind we are located at Morphett Vale on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. So, if you need us to attend personally and assist you, then 20kms radius applies. Otherwise if you can live with email or phone support you are still most welcome to join.
As assistance is maily free to members an "on call" arrangement will not apply. Times for personal visits must be arranged. We trust you will understand all our members have lives and give their help freely to others.
